American Pie

The other day I uncovered an old song call American pie by Don McLean (I think). This song id incredibly long, eight minutes, but I still listen to it three times in a row. While I was listening to American pie, I found a lot of other older songs that I enjoy. One that I am fond of is Goodbye My Lover by James Blunt. Actually, any song by James Blunt is a good song in my book. I think I like the older songs more than I like the new songs. One of my favorites is Bahamian Rhapsody by Queen. You've probably heard of that one before. One you may or may not of heard of is Cats in the Cradle by Cat Stevens (I think). Sometimes we have to look back to find some of our favorite songs.

Hogwarts IPhonus

I was walking to the bus stop when I spotted what looked like an IPhone, but when I turned it on (to see if I knew who's phone this was) I found some of the strangest apps I've ever seen. It looked like this phone came right from Hogwarts with apps like Owl mail and Love Potion. I wondered if there was a way to change app names, because I had never seen any of these before. Before I could investigate further , my bus pulled up. I put the phone in my pocket and got on the bus. Once I found my seat, I felt the phone get a message, or Owl mail. Curiosity got the best of me and I read the text. It said, "Hey, did you do your potions homework?? :)". I didn't know what this person was talking about, so I pocketed the phone and told myself I would look at it after school.

Coding

I really like the coding we've been doing in technology because it is like a puzzle game. On of my favorite things about the coding is the fact that I could use codes to make games in the future. Now that I've practiced coding, I can look at a flash game on the internet and guess what codes they used. I hope to get a job in coding in the future. I have recently found many programs that you can get on your computer that teaches and uses coding that I can use now that I know what coding is and what it can do. Coding may be difficult, but it is an important skill to have for the future.

One Thing I Will Never Forget

One thing I will never forget about being this age is having the ability to just think of the craziest things and have the craziest ideas. Adults forget this because once you are an adult, you only think of reality and never think of the impossible. Adults have forgotten to dream, or to imagine the impossible. I will always treasure my ability to dream, to create, to write. I hope I will hold on to my crazy dreams and keep thinking the impossible, that's how great writers write stories, or at least I've heard. I hope I will never lose my creativity.
