Mysterious Town of Hedgeville Part 1

Beyond the island's hills is small coal town. It has about 15,890 people. The town named is Hedgeville. It is sits a very unstable ground or soil, which means is in a swamp. The old cemetery of Hedgeville is now under water. The town was build and growing by its coal industry. It was founded in 1894.The coal was an accident. The miners were supposed to mined some salt, but instead they stumble some coal. Why is the town of Hedgeville mysterious?
